"Day Lily"

I met this guy in College Station that kept going on and on about his beautiful Day Lilies until I finally went to his house to get some to photograph. When I got there I was disappointed that he had no blooms. There were a few with pods that appeared like they were ready to open soon. I took those home and placed in water. The next day I awoke to this. Just incredible.

"Bluebonnets"

Everyone loves Bluebonnets and, of course, I had to have an image of Bluebonnets. The problem was that I didn't want the regular run-of-the-mill type field shot that everyone has seen. Glaring at a Bluebonnet cluster I finally saw what I was looking for...a close up mid section. Each blossom starts to take on a personality with a big nose, a high brow and a goatee. It is fun to let your imagination go looking at macro floral photography. This image was featured in my Texas Highways article, April 2009.

"OK I'm Back"

Sorry for not updating recently.  I had a computer problem and I have recovered.  I lost a 1TB hard drive and luckily...I have redundantly backed up my business files and photos.  Unfortunately, I did lose all my mp3 files, movies, personal family photos and some financial documents.  Let my demise be your lesson...BACK UP YOUR IMPORTANT FILES, RELIGIOUSLY!!!

This was a public service announcement.
