"Christmas Cactus"

Since we have been looking at cactus, let's include the Christmas Cactus. These beautiful blossoms appear in December and point down toward the ground. I have seen a bright pink variety, too. For this image I snapped off a section and stood it upright. Interesting thing is that I saved the green section below the flower and placed it in some dirt. It took three years, but now we have a nice big Christmas Cactus hanging plant. I bet we get at least 50 blossoms a season from it.
This portrait is available for custom print up to 24x30 inches.
